Physician

Dr. Ahmed has been a resident of Jacksonville, FL since 2010. Dr. Ahmed  is a fellowship trained sleep physician who did his sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Texas, Houston.  During Dr. Ahmed's residency training he did rotations in sleep medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. At Johns Hopkins, Dr. Ahmed had the honor to work with the pioneers in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Christopher Early (Rest Leg Syndrome), Dr. Nancy Collop (Sleep Disordered Breathing), and  Dr. Charlene Gamaldo (Sleep and Neurological Disorders). Before starting his sleep medicine practice, (Sleep EZ Family and Sleep Health LLC ) Dr. Ahmed pioneered a sleep medicine program at one of the major cardiovascular groups in the greater Jacksonville area.  Dr. Ahmed has two adolescent children and his wife is also a physician. Dr. Ahmed spends his leisure time  with his family and in his garden. Dr. Ahmed is also an avid traveler and enjoys meeting people of different cultures and backgrounds.
